Had a very positive experience from the first step of booking through until our departure. Everyone was pleasant to deal with and the park is both clean and relaxing. Would have no problem in recommending Deer Creek to anyone looking for a high end A class resort.

We recently spent 5 fantastic days at this gem of an RV Resort. Location and drive up the mountain is beautiful. Great time at Taco Night, wine and laughs. Look forward to visiting again.

Just left Deer Creek Motorcoach Resort in Galax, Virginia yesterday after spending 5 nights. I would like to say in our travels we’ve hit dozens of resorts and I’ve read of some folks feeling like outsiders by the owners (never our opinion/experience). At Deer Creek, the owners are one of the best features! As a guest renting a lot, my wife and I felt VERY WELCOME right from the welcome ambassador (Audrey) to the safe travels as we left. Cheerful hello’s and waves from virtually everyone walking by. Many would stop and chat, offer tips on things to do and restaurants to dine at. Never did we feel unwelcome rather felt like part of the family for a few days. This park is beautifully kept and the wi-fi is probably the best I’ve experienced on the road. I will not hesitate to return for some more relaxation.

My wife and 4-year-old enjoyed our stay. The people who were our ambassadors were so friendly and so much help . . . If you have a class A and love people then you will find very friendly neighbors. 9 hole golf, free to guests par 3 is great. The clubhouse and amenities are clean and well kept. The area is full of music and make sure you take 20 to 30 miles to see Andy Griffith Museum and the Blue Ridge Music Center.

This is a great location in Galax, VA. We had a terrific time there with our grandkids. The communications for the rental and the service and owners were so good to work with. We definitely consider Deer Creek one of our favorite spots.

We checked into the fabulous Deer Creek Motorcoach Resort yesterday for a 2-day stay on our way to the Canadian Maritimes. The resort is in SW VA just a few miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway. It’s made up of privately owned sites with a small 9-hole golf course. Our RV site borders a beautiful pasture with the distant sound of cows mooing and donkeys baying. The best part of the stay has been the warm welcome by the owners who included us in their Saturday night Fajita Frenzy dinner and an awesome Sunday brunch at their new clubhouse. This place hits it outta the park!

This was our 5th year staying at Deer Creek. Had a very relaxing time. Everyone is always friendly and willing to help make your stay enjoyable. Hope to be back next year.

Deer Creek is an owner owned Class A only resort. The resort is well maintained with plenty of amenities and the people are friendly and welcoming. Galax VA, Hillsville VA, Mt Airy NC, and Sparta NC are all nearby and offer plenty to see and do. The blue ridge parkway is about 5 miles from the resort with all its beauty and adventure.

Beautiful park, well maintained with a small golf course. All lots are individually owned and each owner contributes to the management of the park. Upon arrival an owner ambassador will meet you at the gate and take you to your site. You will be given a packet with all the information you need to enjoy the surrounding area. Only a couple of miles to the Blueridge Parkway. They will be building a new clubhouse for the 2023 season. We will return to Deer Creek.

Second to none. Maintained to a very high standard. Clean motorcoaches, manicured grounds, friendly neighbors.

We had a wonderful stay at Deer Creek. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. They keep you very informed of everything that is going on at the Resort.

We arrived on a rainy Saturday afternoon and were greeted by our Ambassador Scott (an owner at the resort) who showed us to our site, gave us a packet with information on the resort including lots for sale, things to do and recommendations for places to eat. The resort as a whole is very well maintained and our lot was no exception. There’s a par 3 9-hole golf course which we walked but didn’t play . . . Everyone we met was friendly and as mentioned before, many stay for 6 months and have owned for years.

Enjoying our stay at Deer Creek Motorcoach Resort. If you are looking for solitude and peace and quiet, this place is perfect. Well maintained gated resort, all sites are privately owned, several sites are for sale right now, about 70 sites, 9-hole golf course, clubhouse which has lots of books and movies you can borrow, laundry, exercise equipment.

We really enjoyed our recent stay at DCMR, it’s beautiful and very relaxing. The folks there are very friendly, can’t wait to go back when we can stay longer.

We had an awesome experience at Deer Creek Motorcoach Resort in Galax, VA last week. The resort is in a beautiful location and is very well maintained. Most lots have a cabin and outdoor kitchen area. We had a pull-in site on the back of the resort next to the pasture and had a very friendly donkey come to visit several times. The personal service leading up to and during check-in was awesome and the owners there are very friendly and helpful! We had high-speed Internet at our site that the owner provided with our rental allowing us to work from the coach 4 days while we were there. We also had an amazing time exploring the gorgeous Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina as the entrance is about 1 mile down the road. We will definitely be back to this gem!!
