Deer Creek Motorcoach and Golf Resort

We are EXTREMELY easy get to:

Conveniently located near the junction of Interstate 77 (I-77) and Interstate 81 (I-81) in southwestern Virginia.

From I-77 / I-81 intersection area:

  1. If you’re on I-77 heading north (or south) and approaching the I-81 interchange:

    • Take I-77 to Exit 14 for US 58 / Galax.

  2. If you’re on I-81, you’ll want to get onto I-77 south if you’re coming from the north, or I-77 north if coming from the south, toward Galax.

  3. Once on US 58, proceed toward the town of Galax.

  4. Continue through Galax until you reach Meadows Rd (also marked as the “Truck Route”) and turn left.

  5. Continue to HWY 89 and turn left.  Follow HWY 89 to Edmonds Rd and turn right to 2524 Edmonds Road where the resort is located.

From Exit 100 on Interstate 77 (Mt. Airy, NC):

  1. From I-77 Exit 100 (Mt. Airy, NC) exit the interstate via the ramp.

  2. Turn onto HWY 89 WEST for approximately 12 miles to HWY 18.

  3. Turn left on HWY 18 for approximately 3 miles.

  4. Turn right on Edmonds Rd to Deer Creek Motorcoach Resort (2524 Edmonds Road, Galax, VA, 24333).

Additional Notes:

  • Our Ambassador Team will be in touch with you prior to your arrival for a Welcome and Escort at the gate.  Or, you can call the resort at 828-371-4848 at any time for information.

  • The resort is situated in a mountainous area (Blue Ridge region) so road conditions and driving speed may vary, also, be prepared for some elevation and, possibly, winding roads.

  • GPS or map navigation is strongly recommended especially for the final stretch (Edmonds Road) to ensure you take the correct turn.

  • Make sure your GPS is set for Galax, VA, rather than another “Galax” or similar, since rural roads may have limited signage.
