Driving Directions

Our resort is conveniently located near the junction of Interstate 77 (I-77) and Interstate 81 (I-81) in southwestern Virginia.

From Winston Salem

• Take Highway 52 North to I-74 around Mt. Airy
• Take Exit 6 (Hwy 89) to Mt. Airy, turn left onto Hwy 89
• Go approximately 13 miles to Hwy 18, turn left onto Hwy 18
• Go approximately 3 miles, turn right onto Edmonds Road (just after passing Dollar General on the left)
• Go approximately 1/4 mile, Deer Creek Motorcoach Resort will be on the left

From Charlotte

• Take I-77 North to Exit 100 Mt. Airy, turn left onto Hwy 89
• Go approximately 12 miles to Hwy 18, turn left onto Hwy 18
• Go approximately 3 miles, turn right onto Edmonds Road (just after passing Dollar General on the left)
• Go approximately 1/4 mile, Deer Creek Motorcoach Resort will be on the left

From I-81

• Take I-77 South to Exit 14 Hillsville. Turn right at the end of the ramp onto Highway 58
• Go approximately 10 miles into Galax, take a left on N. Meadow Street (marked as a “Truck Route,” bypassing downtown Galax)
• Follow this bypass until it ends at Highway 89 (Skyline Highway), then turn left
• Drive 5 miles to Edmonds Road on right, turn right
• Follow Edmonds Road 3 miles to Deer Creek Motorcoach Resort on the right (just past Cool Breeze Campground)
